Dear Blue Hills families, friends, and donors,

Your support is already at work this fall—thanks to you, Blue Hills students now have a dedicated PE coach for our primary grades (TK–3), more after-school clubs across every grade, and more hands-on support around campus.

Meet Coach Priyanka Chandra

“I graduated from 5th grade here in 2009 and grew up right across the street. My handprint was even on the old mural wall before it was repainted! Coming back to Blue Hills in this role really does feel like coming full circle.”

“More than anything, I hope students leave PE feeling confident in their own bodies and excited to move. At this age, the goal isn’t mastery—it’s building a positive relationship with being active.”

Help Us Close the Gap

So far this school year, BHEF has raised $56,000 toward our $150,000 annual goal. That puts us $20,000 behind where we were at this point last year.

That matters because BHEF is funding more this year based directly on what families told us they wanted: PE for TK–3rd grade, more after-school clubs across every grade, and additional support on campus, including structured lunchtime activities.
