The short answer is that public funding does not cover every program our community values. BHEF helps bridge that gap so all students can access a fuller educational experience.

Minigrants is a program where BHEF supports our amazing teachers who have additional programmatic needs that will further their classroom efforts. From providing furniture better suited for high-energy kids to having a special book series or coding kits, our teachers bring amazing ideas that BHEF is happy to help execute!

Yes! We have an annual fundraiser in the spring which is our STEAM Showcase and Silent Auction. Donations from our generous community sponsors help are bid on by our parent & caregiver community. If you (or your business) have donations for our Silent Auction, we can provide in-kind donation receipts for products (unfortunately, not services).
